DVD drives keep accessing

I noticed last night that my DVD drives are being accessed every few minutes when my MacPro 2008 is on even when there are no discs in them, I've connected/disconnected the drives, changed the master/slave/cable select configs and even done a SMC reset but the issue still seems to be there.

Anyone have any other ideas on what else I can try?
 
Launch Activity Monitor and change "My Processes" at the top to "All Processes", then look to see what processes might be accessing the drive.
