Hello Everyone,
I'm new here, and this is my first post. Thanks for your time.
I have a 2010 13" MacBook Pro. I recently bought a 24" Asus HD Monitor. I connect it with a Mini Display to HDMI Adaptor and have no problems. Until I watch a DVD that is. At random times while watching a DVD on the second display, with DVD Player on full screen and the laptop's display dimmed to the lowest brightness, the video has frozen. Both screens go black, the audio stops and the computer becomes unresponsive. No mouse or trackpad clicks work. Nothing on they keyboard. And unplugging the external display does nothing as well. I've tried with the power plugged in a not, and I've adjusted the energy saver settings. I was wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong? It's completely random, and I have to manually reset my computer. Is it the display?
Thanks again for all your time.
