DVD Fails to rip

I burned a DVD on a separate computer. Now I want to rip it to my MacBook. The DVD plays flawlessly in VLC and DVD Player. However, when I try to use Handbrake or Mactheripper, the rip fails around halfway through. I even tried to use DVD Decrypter on my PC, and that failed around the same spot. Do I have to burn a new DVD, or is there an alternate way to rip the DVD? :confused:
 
I just attempted to make a second DVD and it still didn't work on 2 different computers. Any suggestions?
