DVD from 1920x1080 footage

dear guys!
i have a 1920x1080 sequence in fcp7 and iDVD, and i need to make a DVD to project it via projector.

i have tried different exports and each time my computer plays the dvd as shown, but when put in dvd player - its loses part of the image (is croped)

how can i export my sequence to have the full image on DVD

Export at 720 x 405. Try that.

Check the settings on your DVD player and/or TV. Is either one set to 'zoom'?

FCP X has a DVD encode button, also Compressor can export with mpeg-2 for DVD, not sure what to do with Final Cut 7 alone or iDVD.
