DVD from DVD recorder can't be read

Hello,

Ik coppied a TV show to a DVD-R with my Panasonic DVD/HD recorder.

My macbook doesn't regcognize this DVD..Does someone has a suggestion how I can get that TV show on my macbook so I can convert it at the end to a mov file
