Hey all

Just got my mac pro (wrong time i know!) and i was wondering if some of you lovely folks could give me a hand, i can't for the life of me work out why i can't watch/rip DVD's, they are all Legit retail DVD's, and i wanted to rip them onto my Mac to share with my ps3 over my network. When i put any video DVD in nothing happens, the drives spin up but nothing gets mounted, if i put something like the install dvd in it works fine and gets mounted on the desktop.

Probably some obvious answer that i have overlooked but i assume this bad boy can rip dvds?!

Cheers all

Have you tried it with other DVDs? Have you tried the DVDs in other computer or PS3?

Put a disk in and open Disk Utility and see does it show something

Thanks for the reply, i have tried 4 DVD's and they all work in my DVD player, if i open Disk Utility i can see the name of the dvd, if i try to mount it i get "mount failed the disk cannot be mounted"

Cheers
