Hello all,

I have modified my MBP 15" to run on a raid configuration of SSDs..

Hence have now an external 'superdrive' on a usb2 connection.

Inserting a DVD (to test OK) brought up 'no suitable driver'.

Is this because it is now on a usb or have I missed something software wise in the set up.

Camera & sound OK and all progs working 's**t' fast including PS4.

I really have no idea at all about video/dvd or even why they are called something different as both seem to be on a DVD???? DUH!!! As I say complete duffer as far as this goes - so all help gratefully received.

Thank you

Hello

What exact/specific enclosure or device do you use to connect the Optical Disk Drive (ODD) to your Mac?

I am using the 'box' that came from 'MaxUpgrades' when I bought their conversion kit.

Oh, the superdrive is in the box and box connects mbp via usb2
