DVD Only reads on my machine

Hi all,

I burned two identical DVDs in the finder (10.3.9) using my G4733, with a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR 106D Drive. They both read just fine in the same drive, but nobody else in my office can read the disks.

I've tried a Pioneer 104RW (OS9) and a 104R (OS 10.2) drive. Neither can read them they just sit and spin for a while and eject.

What's the problem?

Did you burn them at faster speeds that the older drives can read? Did you use DVD-RW discs that those older drives can't read?

I don't think that burning speed (I had it set to max) has anything to do with how the disk is read after it's burned.

The disks I used are 1-8x 4.7gb disks. Nothing special.

Edit: Disks are DVD+R. Would that do it?
