DVD Player and TV

On SL I could slide a DVD movie over to my tv, click full screen and everything was great. Now with Lion I slide the movie over to the tv, click full screen and it goes to full screen on my iMac instead of the TV? The only way I found to get full screen on the tv is to mirror the screens.

Anyone else having this problem or know what I'm doing wrong here?

Use VLC, it easily allows you to change screens.
