DVD Player - Part of the Screen freezes when the controls hide

So I'm playing a movie in dvd player (happens with ripes and dvds). When the control box hides a right section of the screen freezes in that frame. It seems to of started happening when DVD player crashed in the middle of a movie and then it wouldn't force quit. I had to reboot. I have a MB C2D.

Has this happened to anybody before?

it even happens with I zoom in! Part of the right side of the screen doesn't move and I can zoom in on it. Also that part goes funny when I goto front row.

I think I fixed it now. I changed my screen display to something other than 1280*800 and then I changed it back. It seems to work fine now... I tried a movie and it seems to work fine now.
