dvd player: permanent subtitles

ok, when i use dvd player with my powerbook g4 12" 1.33 there are subtitles that will never go away, i have subtitleing turned off in the player but htey won't go away, the subtitles are in english btw.

i don't knwo what to do....is this a bug? a glitch?

Have you taken a look under preferences and made sure you have it set to disk default and not english

Is this with every disc or just one?

yes it is with every disc, and i had already checked and it is set to disc default already. i don't know why they're still there

Try deleting the preference file (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.DVDPlayer.plist)

Subtitles issues

Hi guys,

I have downloaded perian having thought that could have resolved my subtitles issue. But it doesnt work... and i paid for
I am french and I use to download englisg movies with english subtitles to work on my english but I dont know how to proceed to activate the subtitles. though when i download i chose only mivies with subtitles....
i have a imac (the big one ) dont remember the details

please help me guys
