DVD Player replacement

I get tired of the "Not permitted∅" bs. But VLC sound pops all the time and it crashes. Is there a user friendly and stable DVD player for the Mac? Thanks.

I have no problems with either DVD Player or VLC, however some people 'round here recommend MPlayer. Maybe that'll be better. Good luck.
