DVD playing problem.

So I tried many dvds but none work with apple's dvd player. I can get it to work with vlc but I like apple dvd player software more. Every time I try to do something it would say Supported disk not available. I never had this problem before. And I have even viewed on of the dvds before on my mbp. Any ideas?

I did a search but most were left unanswered or was not the right solution. Thank you.

Have you tried opening up a new user account to see if you can play the DVDs from that version of DVD Player?

No but, I tried 2 hours latter and it started working fine. The real odd part was I didn't even restart my computer.
