Does anyone know of a good program that will play DVD's from an external DVD drive? Apple's DVD player won't support my non-apple drive and mplayer....well....it just doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

As a tide me over, did you try in Apple DVD Player using File->Open Video/TS folder, and then navigating to the folder, which is on the root directory of your DVD? I don't have a 3P DVD player, but since it'll play DVD's off the desktop or another hard disk, I'm not sure why this route wouldn't work with your DVD player.
