Hello. I'm a fresh mac user, so i come here fore some help ;)

I have made a slideshow presentation in MS powerpoint. I would like to make this presentation viewable on a standalone DVD.

My quiestion is?

Is it better to convert this powerpoint file to dvd using iMovie HD (and how do i do this) or is it better to make a new presentation directly in iMovie HD...and then burn it to DVD?? (some tutorial help please). Or which tool to use to make fancy presentations..? :)

Thanks a lot.

Do you have Keynote? (Part of iWork.) If so, then import the PPT presentation into Keynote and export as a DVD or Quicktime movie. Depending on the content, you could also try making it in iMovie. Probably your best bet is to use Keynote.

Thanks for the info.

I won't get my macbook back in time to try this out. I need this presentation next tuesday.

Now i have to figure it out, how to convert my powerpoint presentation to DVD on my PC.
