DVD presentation

Hello. I'm a fresh mac user, so i come here fore some help

I have made a slideshow presentation in MS powerpoint. I would like to make this presentation viewable on a standalone DVD.

My quiestion is?

Is it better to convert this powerpoint file to dvd using iMovie HD (and how do i do this) or is it better to make a new presentation directly in iMovie HD...and then burn it to DVD?? (some tutorial help please). Or which tool to use to make fancy presentations..?

Do you have Keynote? (Part of iWork.) If so, then import the PPT presentation into Keynote and export as a DVD or Quicktime movie. Depending on the content, you could also try making it in iMovie. Probably your best bet is to use Keynote.

I won't get my macbook back in time to try this out. I need this presentation next tuesday.

Now i have to figure it out, how to convert my powerpoint presentation to DVD on my PC.
