Hi. I want to transfer a bunch of VHS tapes over to DVD.

If I get a basic DVD Recorder, the kind without the VCR built in.

Will the unit have an input (A/V Composite?) so I can connect the VCR to it and record to DVD in real-time as the VHS plays?

Any help appreciated.
