I've just bought a DVD (pearl harbour) and I'd like to make a backup copy.

I don't like DivX because I want an excellent quality for both audio and video, so I'd like to copy it on the mac the entire DVD and then burn it.

But Pearl Harbour is a 7GB movie and I only have got 4,7GB dvds.
Can I "cut" it in two "pieces"?
How? Do you know any app?

THANKS!!

LMAO! I love it when people say they want a "backup" copy :p

Anyway, search versiontracker for DVDBackup, this will "rip" the DVD to your HDD, as to how you "split" this accross 2 discs, sorry, I have no idea!

use dvd2one X
have lost the address though, look @ google.
it lets you cut the subtitles you don t need, and with some other features you can reduce the size to 4.7 gig.
have fun.
