hi,
Is there any way to make a DVD File (mpeg2) smaller so it will fit into a single layer DVD? I need it to be able to play on DVD players , but right now i don't have access to any electronics store so i can buy a dual later DVD, so was wondering if there was any way to make the file smaller and still have it play.

If you've ripped a dual layer DVD and want to burn that back to a single layer DVD you can use either Popcorn or Toast from roxio. These programs will compress the file to fit.
