Ok so for some reason I was under the assumption that my G5 powermac would only burn DVD - R disk and not the + R. But today I checked under my system profiler and came across this and I'm confused. I just bought this machine in mid Feb and I thought the most recent g5 upgrades added support for + R disk. The current apple site even list the single 1.8ghz as only burning DVD - R. Am I missing something here?

I'm not sure why they say only -R (other than the fact that's the standard they supported), but it does it fact burn both -R and +R... That being said, my DVD player only will play -R (according to the manual it could potentially play +R on some disk types).
