Hi,

I have a Dual 867MHz G4 with a DVD reader/CD burner combo, running OSX 10.2.8, and I live in England (DVD Region 2)

Recently, I played a Region 1 DVD (by mistake) in the mac (before I upgraded to 10.2.8), and now, I can't play any region 2 discs. The DVD player application comes up with a message saying something like "This disc does not match the region of the drive. You may change the region 4 more times". There are two buttons: a Cancel button and a "Set Region" button (or something like that), but the Set Region button is greyed out, so I cannot click on it to change the settings.

I can't see any other way of changing what region my mac thinks it's in - the keyboard mapping is set to British, and from what I can see, my Mac think's its British!

How can I change the region of my drive so as I can play Region 2 discs?

Thanks for the help :)
