I'm trying to make images of game CD'sDVD's so that I don't have to keep swapping CD's/DVD's out of my DVD drive on my Mac Pro when gaming.
I've tried using Toast 8 & Disk Utility in 10.4 to create images, but the game I'm trying to do this with (Imperial Glory) doesn't recognize these images & won't run.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it just the game that needs to have a physical disc in the drive?

On the PC side, there are programs call Game Drive & Virtual Drive that emulate physical Drives & can have images mounted in them to prevent constant swapping. Is there a Mac program similar to this?

Thanks!
