My 15" mac book pro bought in 2007, and now I am pretty sure the dvd rom is not working.
I think a lot of people having the same problem too. I bought a LG portable DVD burner today, and that is not working in my snow leopard.
I tried hard to find information from the net, really need some help now. Does anyone knows which brand and model (external, which can work perfectly with my OS) I should get? I am not going to get a LaCie because I think its pretty expensive price for a dvd burner.
