DVD RW not working?

I have optic DVD R/W on my computer and it's not burning on my computer...
It burns CDs but not DVDs.
Anyone know why this is ahppening?
I'm using Windows XP.



OPTIARC DVD RW AD-7170A



Do I have to get a driver for it or something?
