dvd screen on ibooks

is it just me or does the dvd screen on the ibook look a little dull. ive been playing monsters inc and the colour seems a little off, is there any way to adjust the contrast?

i get a little flickering white line just in the middle of the screen above where the actual 'dvd' meets the black lines that fill up the rest of the screen. it's mildly annoying.

one of my friends gets that on his ibook, you should just use VLC.

I've got the new 12" iBook, and after viewing a few dvds including the incredibles, I think it looks fantastic. I get no flickering or anything like that or any white lines. I'll go test out monster's inc.
