DVD Sharing

How do I put a new software on my new Macbook? I have Office mac and when I go to sharing on my mac it does not show the option DVD/ Cd Sharing like it used to on my Macbook Air. Am I missing something?

Or you could simply copy the contents of the Disc onto a flash drive and run it from there.

Just make sure you have a big enough flash drive [and a USB C - A adapter]

You can also just buy an external DVD drive [I paid something like $24 for my external Blu Ray drive] -- this option still requires the above mentioned adapter]

That's what I did a while back. The $19 adapter, which seems to be available in just about all Apple retail stores, solves the USB A to USB C issue.
