I've recently installed and ran DVDShrink on MAC using Dewine and these instructions http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/668414 . Unfortunately, I missed the step about save location, and the program defaulted to the C drive. Of course, there is no C drive, and after searching through my computer for the exported files, I couldn't find them. They are, however, taking up harddrive space. I was wondering if anyone knows where these files might be, how programs like Wine, Dewine, and DVDshrink interpret the OSX file structure. Thanks a lot!

If you know the name of the file, search for it in finder. If they are large enough to be in the top 50 largest try using JDisk Report (just google it) it's freewrae that tells you where the really large files are on your system when you want to free up some HDD space.
