Well I inserted a blank DVD (or so I thought) into my 2.2 ghz MacBook pro. Turns out it was corrupted and now it just spins in the drive and doesn't load in finder. Its making a terrible sound. Its killing me. I've tried the disk eject button, I've tried disk utility but it just beachballs on me, I've tried iTunes, I've tried holding the button down while restarting, and I've tried terminal. Xp won't boot in boot camp. I am out of carrots here what in the hell can I do?

apple store should be able to fix it for you.

no apple stores near me. I'm in new orleans, louisiana. No apple stores here. Closest one is like in Austin or Houston or somewhere
