DVD Studio Pro - Which OS and which machine?

Hello,

I need to use DVD Studio for a project - I have a Mac Pro 5,1 running Monterey, but I was thinking of putting Sierra on there, and trying to get the last version of Final Cut Studio on there, which has the last version DVD studio Pro bundled. If I buy a HDD and install Sierra (last OS to support Final Cut Studio, I think?), will I have any problems? I am running an RX560, will this be ok?

In my experience with FCS3, Everything works up to Sierra except Motion, which stops working in Yosemite. in High Sierra, none of the FCS3 apps worked.

And to add to this, does iDVD follow the same OS cut off point as FCS?

I believe your RX560 requires Sierra or newer. Going back in OS's would mean you need to find an older GPU as well.

I never really used the iLife apps, so not sure on that.
