I needed a dual layer dvd burner that was able to read cd-g. I have a program called Kjams that puts Karaoke on my Macbook, but the drive in it didn't support cd-g. I found a "HL-DT-ST DVD/RW GSA-S10N" ON eBay that said in the description it did everything I was looking for. But I can't find any information about this unit any where else on the internet. If any one can please find the stats on this machine it would be deeply appreciated. Other people besides me have the same problem finding a drive that will work with this application and I would like to pass any thing known to the Kjams programmer.

Try this Vocopro DVG-399K Karaoke Player.

"relax924" was asking about getting a player that will work with his mac. he was not asking about dedicated hardware to use independent of the computer.

You should ask kJams questions on the kJams forums.

But this is what i've got on compatible drives:

It has been reported that the GSA-S10N will read CDG but will not burn viable discs, YMMV.
