The Great White North Eh
OK here's my dilemma.
I have a few seasons of stargate I own. I hate having to go through the menus and switch disks (as they only put a few eps on each), so my plan would be to extract the eps from the dvd, (don't need the other crap), encode into divx and make a divx dvd (via toast) to play on my dvd player (which supports divx).
Is handbreak the only app I could use for this?
Any other ideas?
thanks

If you rip the DVD with MacTheRipper you can use FFMPEGX to convert it to DivX.

Handbrake is the easiest and fastest way to go as far as I know. The latest version has a bunch of good batching features so you can just leave it alone to rip.

The only problem is that it converts to MPEG4 not DivX, which I think may be a problem.
