iPod touch DVD TV shows on Touch... how?

I just bought an 8GB iPod Touch (fabulous, btw. Week 43, no issues at all). Anyway, I have some TV shows on DVD and I'd like to put them on my Touch. I know (roughly) how to put DVD movies on (extract main feature, compress to iPod, whatever). How do I do it with TV shows. Do I still extract the main feature, and will that extract separate episodes rather than one 3 hour long block of episodes?

Anyway, I'm rambling, but you know what I mean. Any help is appreciated.

Separate episodes. If you're using Handbrake you should be able to locate the episodes because they'll be a series of 23/45 minute chapters all in a row.
