DVD Video not showing up

Good evening,

Another issue: My MacMini doesn't "fully" recognize the DVD Movies I throw at it. They are not mounted on the Desktop, but they are viewable in Disk Utility (but not as a proper DVD Video).
This means the DVD Player launches, but I cannot play the movies "disc un-readable".

What the hell is going on? It reads data DVDs and CDs correclty. The only way I found to resolve my problem is to reboot the machine. Plus, if I leave it on lets say a dozen of hours, I will have to reboot again for the next movie.

Very disturbing.

Also, I noticed the audio is out of sync. Strange, strange, and strange.

Are these commercial DVDs? How do they show up in Disk Utility?

They show up without a proper icon. There is the Drive, for example "7.1GB MATSHITA CD-RW". That has a CD icon. Then there is the proper movie, for example "STARWARS_EPISODEII_FRANCE", that has a blank icon, like a file without the app to open it.

Any ideas?
