I have used MTR to rip a DVD. It is in main feature folder containing the Video TS folder and Toast tells me when I try to burn the Video TS folder to DVD that it cannot as it is CSS encrypted. I am just trying to make backups so I can put the orignals away and safe from my kid and nephews. Am I doing something wrong. I thought that once MTR extracted it, Toast would burn it since the encryption was then removed.

Can anyone help me out on this?

Did you do a "Full Disc Extraction" in MacTheRipper?

No, just a main feature extraction, but I thought either way, main feature or full disc, MTR took out the encryption.

Try a Full-Disc extraction and burn a movie-only in Toast.

Also make sure you have the newest MTR (2.66 is useless on new discs) I believe it's 3.0 r13e or something.
