DVD's not recognised

I have just bought an older G5 PowerMac.....1.6, 1.25gig Ram.

It came with Tiger and DVD's were recognised and dvd player started. I added another hard drive and installed leopard on this drive.....now DVD,s won't show u at all. The superdrive see's cd's ok and I can rip them to itunes but dvd's...nothing

Any ideas?

Check if the inserted DVDs show up in Disk Utility. Also check in System Preferences, make sure in CDs/DVDs is not set to ignore inserted DVDs.
