DVI issues

Hi,

Bought the minydisplay to dvi adpator which i then have a dvi to hdmi adaptor connected to. However there is nothing coming up on the tv :/

the adaptor is single link dvi-d .. i'm wondering is this the issue as the minydisplay port cable is dual link??
