dvi or vga for my monitor?

i have late 09 13" MBP hooked up to my hp w2408 monitor right now using vga cable and an adapter, would i see a difference if i used DVI instead of VGA?

YMMV, but I definitely saw a huge difference between VGA and DVI cables on my old monitor.
