dvi or vga input to video out box

I have a sharp monitor that does not accept the signal being output by my MBP.

The sharp user manual says that the component input, does not accept PC inputs.

so, i figure, i can buy the box that converts DVI or VGA to video, and that would work, but I cant find it here on MacRumors, I know I saw the thread here, but i cant find it.

can someone help me out ?
