I have had my SR Macbook pro connected to my HDTV via DVI to HDMI cable with no problems. I have also had it connected to my cinema display again with no problems.

Lately the display on my TV went pink so I figured I needed a new cable. Tried to connect to my TV. The MP detects the TV but the screen on the TV is black. So I tried connecting it this morning to the cinema display. Again my MP detects the cinema display but the screen on the cinema display is black. I have done a PRAM and the problem still remains. The cinema display works ok connected to an old PC I have with a gfx card with a dvi port.

Any ideas ???? I have tried googling but just seem to come up with problems of not detecting the external monitor but mine does. I can not try connecting via vga as I do not have the vga adapter nor anything that takes vga to test.
