Pointless, because standard DVI does not carry audio, and your DVI monitor won't produce sound through it. Just run stereo audio cables separately to wherever.

RCA carries analog audio, and HDMI carries digital audio, so you can't simply split it off. You would need a decoder, which isn't simply an adapter, it would be a box that plugs into the wall and costs a few hundred bucks.
