Hi,

With my old G4 that had a MiroVideo PCI card, i used to connect a TV in another room to its video-output, with an S-video cable, so i could view video's there. Now i got a new Mac Pro and I want to connect the TV to its second DVI port and do the same. I have Apple's DVI-to-video cable, the s-video cable is connected, but i get no image.
Not from Quicktime nor VLC.
I know it must be possible. Anyone has any experience with this?

same here, except I get an image of the comp's background with no files. what the hell is going on here?
