Hi I want to connect my macbook pro to a monitor. I have a MiniDisplay port to DVI-I (Dual Link). Can Plug a DVI-D (Dual Link) cable into it because the monitor I have Only has a DVI-D (Dual Link) port on it. Thanks for the help in advance.

Yes, you may do that. DVI-I can carry both, analog and digital signal thus it's designed to work with DVI-D cables too
