DWCS4, ASP VBScript Server Model, and MAMP... not working

So I've installed MAMP and configured my DW site as follows:

Server Model: ASP VBScript
Access: Local/Network
Testing server folder: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs
URL Prefix: http://localhost/

When previewing websites in FF or Safari, I get can't "connect to local host" error.

What am I doing wrong? I googled configuration options and it appears the way I've set it up is correct.

I only ask this simple question to cover the basics, did you startup MAMP? And if so, what port is it setup for e.g., 8080, 8888, 80?

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't MAMP an Apache, MYSQL & PHP server? Not ASP?
