E-Mail announcement and passwords

Hey All

I'm looking for a program that will display when I get an e-mail and who it is from in the corner if the screen, like Sizzlekeys. Does such a program exist?

Also, I seem to get asked for my password for everything! Is there a way to totally turn this feature off, it's really bugs me!

Just leave Mail open. Its Dock icon will display the number of unopened new messages in real time.

But it would be nice to have a little display in the corner of the screen with the name of the send and title.

There is a Growl plugin for Mail, that may do what you want.

i think this will suit your needs .. its customizable, etc and is pretty good (for my needs, that is). as for your password problem, i've only been asked once and i haven't had to type in any more passwords since i told it to remember my password
