E-mail question?

I have yahoo as my e-mail carrier but I only get e-mail notification if I go to my e-mail and it refreshes. Is there a way for it to chim/ring when I get an e-mail?

Are you using the webmail interface?

If you use a desktop client (Apple Mail for example), then you can have alerts when different events take place.
