e-mailing audio files

I am a new mac owner and a voiceover artist. I am trying to learn how to e-mail a demo that is on a CD to a friend of mine.Can anyone help? I would be very grateful.

You'll need to rip the CD first. iTunes could do it.

Just as an FYI -

Depending on the file size, you may have to send it using a 3rd party application, like YouSendIt.com or Box.net. Most mail programs have an inherent size limitation between 2MB-10MB.
