Ok, i have a kinda random question. WHY can't you use the iphone sideways when sending an email? It seems to me that typing out an entire email would be a lot easier if you had the larger keypad.. or is my phone not working correctly?

As for why this is, we don't know. But we can guess - they didn't get to it yet. No great mystery there.
Everyone wants a horizontal keyboard in ALL typing situations, and I can't really think of any reason why Apple would refuse to offer it, so it stands to reason that it's just low on their list of priorities.

I actually prefer the smaller keyboard because I have small hands, but I want to READ my email on a horizontal screen. Some emails come in with tiny, tiny print and when I zoom in, I can't see many words and have to scroll back and forth. i hope that we get these included in an update before too long!
