Hello

I am a researcher that has to deal with tons of articles and books on his everyday life and to my happiness many of them are available in PDF format.

I am looking for a device that would allow me to read PDF files without needing to have my MB permanently on. An E-Reader device (such as Kindle, IRex iLiad, Bookeen) seems perfect for me. Since my money is short and I don't know what to buy I would like to have your advice.

Which e-reader available on the market could have the following characteristics:

(a) ability to read PDF files. Please note that many are scanned and therefore are journal articles in A4 page format (2 pages per page)

(b) possibility of underlining and writing side notes on the article? If possible an annexed file containing all the information that I have collected from that article?

(c) this is obvious but nevertheless....Mac compatibility of course (MB Tiger)!

Thank you for your attention
