AMEN!

My absolute favorite board game of all time for both of my iPods.

I know what I'm buying tomorrow when I'm awake and coherent! :)

Why game developers? Why????

Why did you tease us by releasing some action games with awesome possibilities like Sonic, and then continue the constant march of slow-paced games like monopoly?!?

I'm not knocking Monopoly, it's not my cup of tea but if you find it fun then you should enjoy it. I'm saying that the board game / puzzle game / pattern game genre is 95% of the available games, and we've seen with sonic that there is SOOOO much more that the iPod is capable of!

Why tease us with 1 action game for every 25 non-action games that gets released?

my guess is the cramped controls on the ipod are not conducive to action games. never played sonic on an ipod but those controls have to be nightmareish.

but i am just guessing.

At last my life is complete. Monopoly on iPod!!

Not my cup of tea as I prefer to play this the old fashioned way with my daughters, its much more fun that way. Even if we only play it at Christmas!

monopoly really is a very boring "human vs computer" game. The fun of monopoly is in the arguments with other human players. I never understand why games like this make it on the computer. Scrabble i can understand, but monopoly just doesn't work in my opinion.

Am I the only one worried that the monopoly man is going to try to reach out and pull me into the screen?

...

He's a creepy perverted mascot!

...

Is this EA trying to say the iPod is a monopoly?

I can't wait for the App Store for the iPhone/touch. and since when did EA have a license for Monopoly?

Likewise, I do hope they release it for the iPhone/iPod Touch. This is a great game.

I've had monopoly on my Treo (touch, lol) for quite a while. It is rather mindless and not particularly challenging to play against the computer. It is a bit more challenging when it's with 2 or 3 computer opponents.

This version is not by EA so not sure how it will differ. The treo version is by Handmark and Atari.

Anyway, not particularly excited for this one. It might be fun if you can do multiplayer online with the iTouch.

I hope EA is going to develop a bunch of games for the iPhone and have then ready soon

I love this board game! This is great because no one in my family wants to play it anymore (and because I win every time ).

I wonder why they went with "Classic Monopoly" over the newer "Monopoly: Here and Now"?

I have the newer monopoly on my Motorola Razor phone and it is fun to play - they did a great job with the input/controls.

Two of the worse come together...

most overrated video game company comes together with the the most overrated board game.

I guess I'm having a hard time imagining World of Warcraft/Quake/Grand Theft Auto/or whatever is state of the art in action games performing at anything reasonable on an iPod. Not to mention that the controls would be tough to handle.
