Congrats - what was his project?

There's a building maintained by the local Lion's Lady's Auxiliary. He planted perennials and did some other work to halt erosion, cleared some downed trees, and repainted playground equipment.

He wrote 90% of the report and then sat on it for over a year. All the work was done last september...

congratulations! earning eagle is one of the best things ive done. its paid off years later and will be something to keep around for a lifetime!

I'm an Eagle Scout too...I almost dropped out at Life because it was so hard, but I stuck through. I'm sure you're real proud of your son, congrats!

<--- Eagle Scout

Almost dropped out before getting it because of stupid *** bureaucratic bull**** and dumb **********s (:mad::mad: ) who create the most inane system ever. I didn't find anything really "hard" about it...just unimaginably stupid leadership who refused to do anything whatsoever...people who would hang up on me on the phone and not answer my emails for months, and when they did answer them avoid the subject and use the most heinous grammar and spelling I've ever seen.

Worth it? I'm not sure...

<-- Eagle Scout

Congratulations to him. That will impress people all of his life. My Eagle project was very similar-- school grounds fixer-upper; the trees are still there 22 years later.
