I searched and all I found was another thread that no one responded to. Working on a 3GS and the ear speaker wasn't working nor was the lcd. So to fix the lcd first I replaced with another screen assembly I had laying around. LCD began working, now even with this extra screen assembly on my speaker isn't working. I know this speaker worked on the other phone it was on previously. So what ever sends the signal to the speaker on the board I believe isn't working. Phone has never been wet and all water sensors are still white. Guy said speaker just quit working. Thanks in advance for any help.

I read somewhere that the Headphone port could be bad causing it to not cross back over to regular phone ear speaker sound. The guy I'm fixing the phone for said he used his headphones a lot....anyone heard of this?
